5 stars just isn’t enough to describe how amazing The Meadows on Rock Creek is! My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon here, and we truly can’t rave about it enough. First of all, it’s absolutely beautiful and clearly well-maintained. The cabins are cozy, clean, and have everything you could possibly want. If you’re looking for a place that feels corporate or transactional, this isn’t the place for you. Every staff member goes above and beyond to make sure you get the most out of your experience - and on top of their incredible hospitality, they’re just genuinely great people. I can’t count how many times my husband and I hung out in the lodge after an activity and ended up having hour-long conversations with staff members about anything and everything. We truly feel like we left with new lifelong friends. And don’t even get me started on the food...I could talk about it for hours! If you can get my husband to rave about a salad, you know you’re doing something right. We didn’t have a single meal during our weeklong stay that we didn’t absolutely love. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and so creatively curated. We looked forward to every meal because we knew it was going to be amazing. This is a place you can feel good about spending your hard-earned money at...it's very clear that they care about what they do and the people they serve. It's hard to believe that they can get any better than what they are now, but we hear there are some exciting things on the horizon, and we will absolutely be back to experience them!

My husband and I just returned from a magical few days at The Meadows. Us “city folk” had always dreamed of exploring Montana and its offerings, but this exceeded anything we imagined. The accommodations were lovely; darling fully furnished cottages with a spectacular clubhouse/ dining area all looked out across a beautiful meadow with Rock Creek bubbling in the background. The service was top notch with every attention to detail handled by Will and his staff. The food was incredible; what a gem Chef Casey is! He’s a master at developing flavors and creating beautiful dishes using local meats and fresh vegetables. His potatoes are legendary, and his cobblers are the best I’ve ever had! The quality of the food and wine are first class. The all inclusive aspect allowed us to try many new things. Fly fishing was fantastic, and our guide, Henry, was very patient with us newbies. His instructions miraculously saw us both catching cutthroat trout. We also did archery (super fun!), horseback riding, and had a ton of fun doing some distance shooting. I was very intimidated, but with fabulous instruction, felt relaxed and really enjoyed it. We enjoyed some hikes and gem mining to round out our time. Highly recommend a getaway to The Meadows.

The meadows on Rock creek is a truly special place- you'll notice this as soon as you drive onto the property, but every minute you spend there will reiterate that feeling. You'll be greeted on the property like a friend, with all of the staff helping to ensure you're as comfortable and happy as possible. The wildlife are abundant (we were lucky to see a moose, some deer as well as plenty of squirrels and a few rabbits. Some of the other guests mentioned seeing some elk on their horseback riding tour) and the gentle sounds of the creek and wildlife really help create a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. Will is an exceptional host, doing his absolute best to accommodate you in your stay. He is also a great storyteller, and just a great guy to be around. His vision and passion for the land, conservation, fly fishing and hospitality are immediately evident. He was happy to show us to some special spots on the property, which had some amazing views and cool stories about the start of the ranch to go along with them. My fiance and I had never been horseback riding, and we were blessed to get to ride with John for a 3 hour tour of the property. The horses were kind and easy to manage, even for complete beginners and we were able to see some amazing sights. We were totally comfortable the entire time, and John's cool presence was a big part of that! In the afternoon we were lucky to have some incredible fly fishing on the rock creek. Zach helped get my Fiance set up, having never fly fished before, and she was able to hook and land some incredible fish. He was always ready to help us in our river crossings and made sure that we were safe and comfortable at all times. Laine helped me find some great spots and get hooked up in some bucket list fish (the western slope cutthroat here have some great color and can put up a nice fight)! Both of us left the river in time for dinner with huge smiles on our faces that we just couldn't wipe off! Finally, the food here is nothing short of delicious. The chef, Casey, made unique and incredible meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. He was happy to accommodate our dietary restrictions, and what he came up with was delicious and filling. You won't go hungry on this ranch! All that is to say, the staff and location make staying at the Meadows on Rock creek a truly special experience. We hope to be back someday and spend more time here!

I took my 3 boys for our annual fly fishing trip and this place was absolutely amazing. From the fishing to the lodging to the food, everything was top notch. However, the best thing about The Meadows are the people. You will not find a nicer and more gracious group than these folks. They were awesome! God willing, we will be back in the future.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The Meadows at Rock Creek opened full time in 2024 and they’re growing into aspects of their business which gives the place a less polished but a high quality genuine feel. The facilities (more impressive in person than on the website) are very nice and the staff are great people. Meals were outstanding. The range of activities offered (horseback riding, fishing, shooting, archery, biking, etc.) gave us good exposure to the extent of the beautiful property and were a lot of fun. I was looking for an active outdoor Montana experience and feel fortunate to have discovered this ranch.

My time here with my husband was nothing short of amazing! Not only is the location simply stunning (it really, really is), but the hospitality is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Will and his team go above and beyond for you to ensure you have the best experience here. Everyone is so friendly, warm, and helpful. The experiences you are offered are so much fun. We really loved the fly fishing, it is for the highlight of this place! And oh my gosh, the food. Every dish we had was so good and was prepared with so much thought. The cabins are lovely and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable: AC, fireplace, coffee, wine, snacks, bottled waters, robes, toiletries, record player, etc. We couldn't recommend The Meadows on Rock Creek enough. If you're contemplating coming...just do it. You won't regret it! Such a gem.

TEN STARS!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I just spent five incredible days at The Meadows on Rock Creek Guest Ranch outside of Philipsburg, Montana, to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and I can honestly say it was the trip of a lifetime. Fly fishing was a big part of why we chose this ranch. My husband is much more advanced, and Zach and Henry gave him tips and new techniques that he loved. At the same time, they were wonderful with me as a beginner and made it easy and fun to learn. It was such a great balance for both of us. One of my favorite moments was trying archery on my own with Henry, who was so patient and encouraging — he made the whole experience a blast. Beyond that, we went horseback riding, shot sporting clays and long guns, and even mined for sapphires. Every single day had something fun and different to do. And the food! Chef’s Michael and Cleo outdid themselves — three gourmet meals a day that rivaled anything I’ve ever had at a five-star restaurant. I almost cried when I woke up at home this morning and had to make my own coffee and breakfast. Will, his staff, guides, and chefs all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and celebrated. We will absolutely be back, and we’ll be telling everyone we know about this special place.

We had the BEST time here. When we arrived at the property, my ears were buzzing from how peacefully quiet it is. Each staff member goes above and beyond to help make each day feel like the perfect combination of home and vacation. My husband and I did fly fishing, horseback riding, archery, and shooting. Though there were other guests who were no stranger to these hobbies, I was a novice. Each guide helped me to feel comfortable in learning and left me feeling like I had acquired a new skill. The food was outstanding, and gave us a great opportunity to share meals with new people and make friends. The accommodations were so spacious yet cozy, equipped with everything we needed. I will continue to recommend this beautiful oasis to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you MORK staff!
